What can we say about the Dereelight Xsearcher that you already don’t know? You know it is the baddest spotting light / Searching torch for its size out there. Dereelight has designed this outstanding instrument to throw what it seems like for miles! This flashlight can throw 1000 meters away! The aspherical lens that comes with the Xsearcher is no joke. Once you see the lens, you know the Xsearcher means business. This would be the ultimate choice if you are looking for a high-quality spotting lamp or search light. This is what every individual on Search & Rescue teams should have. We firmly believe the military and police departments could really benefit from the service the Dereelight Xsearcher provides. This flashlight can interchange the different LED’s Dereelight produces. From Green, to Red, and even Infrared (IR) LEDs. The great thing is that you can also switch the Nightmaster 800 head with this one. Many of the owners of the Dereelight Nightmaster 800 also buy the Xsearcher head so they have the option of throwing even further if that is what the situation calls for. Nice to have both out in the field!

Why the Nightmaster 800 is the Best Far Throwing Flashlight

If you have had the good fortune of actually using a Dereelight Nightmaster, you probably already know why we think it is the best Far Throwing Flashlight in the business. Sure the Dereelight Xsearcher can throw further. And yes, we are HUGE fans of the Xsearcher, but what makes the Nightmaster so special, is its remarkable small size and weight. Upon first look, you would have no idea what this mighty instrument can do. The first time you turn it on, make sure you have the ability to aim at something that is way way out in the distance. This thing can throw 800 meters with just one 18650 battery! Think about that, that is about 8 Football fields!

The beauty within the Nightmaster is not only that it is extremely compact and well-built, its the aspherical lens that Dereelight makes. We firmly believe Dereelight's aspherical lens is the best in the business. This is where the "magic" comes from.

Plus, the Nightmaster 800 has many interchangeable parts. Dereelight makes spare necks that can carry the various different pills with you in the outdoors and can be changed within seconds. You can go from white, to red, to green, even infrared in seconds. For those who love the Xsearcher, you can replace the nightmaster's head with the Xsearcher head in seconds.

There is also an extender tube which allows you to add either 2 more CR123 batteries or an additional 18650 battery. This allows for a stronger beam and much longer run times. This is a huge bonus when out in the field. That is not the only accessory that makes the Nightmaster a top hunting flashlight. The remote pressure switch is also a huge plus when mounting the torch when hunting.

It is clear why the Nightmaster 800 has become the go to flashlight for jobs that require the beam to go hundreds of meters.

6 Reasons Why Dereelight Makes the Best Hunting Flashlights

Here at FlashlightHut.com, we are extremely enthusiastic about the entire Dereelight Line. From the handy C2H, to the outstanding Super Throwers: the Night Master and the Xsearcher. So why are we so convinced that Dereelight makes the best flashlights, especially for hunting?

  1. Aspherical Lens: The Night Master and the big brother the Xsearcher both have top of the line aspherical lenses. This allows for the beam to be EXTREMELY focused. This in turn allows for
all that blinding light to be narrowed into a lustrous beam that seems to go
forever. In measured tests, the Xsearcher was able to light up a stop sign 1,000
    meters away!
  2. Upgradeability: This may be the best reason to buy Dereelight. With the rapidly evolving LED technology, spear-headed by engineers at Dereelight, there is always a newer, better, brighter emitter. Instead of having to buy a brand new flashlight, you can simply buy a new emitter and replace the older one.
  3. Different Color Pills: Another benefit of being upgradeable is that it is possible to easily change colors of your emitter. From red, yellow, green, and even Infared, you can have the right pill for the job. Each color has its own unique characteristics that you can change at a moment's notice
  4. Lightweight and Tough Build: The Night Master is only 160mm long and only weighs 210g (without batteries). This is why its motto is "Small Torch, Epic Beam". The flashlight is constructed with hight quality aircraft grade aluminum and just feels solid in the hand.
  5. Battery Extender: Dereelight has created an extender tube for both the
Nightmaster and the Xsearcher that allows for the flashlight to use twice the
amount of batteries. This essentially doubles the run-time making your
flashlight last longer in the outdoors when you need it most
  6. Innovative Design & Detail:  Dereelight has thought about what other flashlight designers neglected. The engineers at Dereelight have created innovative designs that lead the way in the flashlight industry. From the Fins around the neck of the flashlight to dissipate heat quickly and most efficiently, to the ring added to the the handle for better grip, to even the small details like a glow in the dark switch for quick activation in the dark.

It's the litle things that make Dereelight flashlights stand out from the rest. With quality you can trust and precision you can count on time after time.

4 Things to Look for When Buying an EDC Flashlight

Not everyone carries around an EDC (Every Day Carry) flashlight, but here at Flashlighthut.com, we firmly believe it is a MUST have. With the new technology in the Flashlight industry, spearheaded by companies such as Dereelight, you can really pack a punch with a flashlight the size of a Chapstick. So what are the things you should look for?

Size: It is crucial for an EDC to be small, compact and light

Build: EDC flashlights need to be built strong to handle being carried around all the time, especially when they are attached to a keychain

Battery Life: It is important to have decent run time. The longer the runtime the less likely your battery will be dead when you need it most- in the dark! Flashlighthut recommends having at least 4 hours of run time.

Modes: Having a "low" "medium" and "high" setting can be very useful. No need to waste precious battery life by blasting your EDC on high when you don't need that much light. People fail to realize that the darker it is, the less light you need.

Our Recommendation: The Dereelight C2H. It has great runtime, built strong, very compact in size, and it has 3 different modes. What makes it stand out from all the rest? It comes with a free extender that allows you to use AA batteries if you don't want to use CR123A batteries.
