Let’s Start Off by Saying These are Both Exceptional Flashlights

The Dereelight Xsearcher and the Dereelight Night Master are made to do one thing: Throw a light beam outrageously far. Dereelight has successfully accomplished this goal. So which one should you get? If of course, you can't get both.

The main difference comes down to two things: size/weight and the throwing capabilities.

The Night Master is your choice if you are going to carry it around a lot, meaning walking with it either in your hand or backpack. It is a lot lighter, making it more versatile and easier to carry. The Night Master has a throwing capability of about 800 meters. If that is ample enough, the Night Master is the way to go.

If however, you want a flashlight that can throw roughly 1000 meters away, then the only choice is the Xsearcher. It does have a bigger larger lens/head, which makes it a bit heavier, however it is not that heavy relatively speaking.

The bottom line is this, is the bit of extra weight and size worth the extra bit of throw? Well, the answer is this: Get one of them and buy the head for the other! This way you have both. Another great idea is to buy a few different neck, each with a different color pill so you can change out the color instantly.
